For nearby travel, taxis and motorbike rentals are available. Although traditional ride-hailing services like Grab aren’t as common, some areas may have local motorbike taxis or ride services.

Seasonality and Weather

Hoi An experiences a tropical climate with two main seasons. The dry season (February-August) features warm, sunny weather, with temperatures from 25-35°C (77-95°F), making it ideal for beach activities. During the rainy season (September-January), heavy showers and occasional flooding are common, especially from October to December, with temperatures between 20-28°C (68-82°F). The best time to visit is from February to April when the weather is cooler, sunny, and more comfortable for outdoor exploration.
